In 1991, Jodi and Daniel Maxwell returned to their roots in Northern Ontario choosing to leave the big city, and their full time jobs, behind to move home and raise their two boys in a rural setting. This was coupled with taking a huge leap of faith on a new business adventure when they opened Maxwell Pottery. Daniel was the Ceramic Technician at Sheridan College and Jodi was seven months pregnant. With Daniel’s creative mastery and Jodi’s business acumen, their success story continues to grow along with their boys as Maxwell Pottery goes from strength to strength. Not content to sit still, Maxwell continues to grow and produces ever more beautiful and contemporary designs that are equal parts artistic and functional.
