My passion is to get out in a canoe and explore and photograph our great wildlands. Most of my images are captured on extended wilderness canoe and hiking trips in my home territory of The Yukon. I have a great passion for our natural landscapes and the wild creatures that inhabit them. My goal in sharing my experiences and images is to inspire and encourage folks to get outside, explore, adventure and expand our appreciation of our planet.
I try to capture a moment with as much accuracy as I can. As a digital photographer, I use photoshop to process my images and to create images as I remember them. I do not enhance colors, alter compositions, or create situations. All the birds and wildlife featured in my work were photographed in the field and are truly wild animals.
